Delivery Options for Victoria Schools Term 4 2021
Early in the COVID-19 Pandemic Australian Pacific Training Solutions was very pleased to be able to work with our training partner Allens Training to be able to offer online with face to face assessment delivery mode. This has enabled us to continue to service our clients training needs whilst minimising contact time and duration of training. This continues to be an important and popular training option.
As the pandemic continues to evolve and the challenges presented during lockdown 6 in Victoria we are pleased to be able to offer our clients some additional training options. We recognise that for Victorian Schools, Term 4 is the most popular time for First Aid Training and with many schools postponing their Term 3 training there is increased pressure on availability. We also recognise that although schools are operating at reduced numbers they still have a need to ensure they meet the health and safety requirements and that their mandatory training cannot be delayed indefinitely.
For Term 4 2021 we will be offering the option for outdoor assessments for schools able to have our team onsite. For schools unable to have our team onsite we will also have the option of offer fully online training and assessment through a combination of online learning courses and zoom assessments.
Below is a brief outline of our available options, please discuss which option is best for your needs with your Training Consultant or call 1300325001.
Outdoor Assessment Sessions
Much like our normal onsite assessment sessions we Trainers will attend your location and conduct small group assessments to complete the training using the online with face to face assessment session. With the improved weather our Trainers will utilise portable marquees and conduct the sessions for up to 3 participants each outside on the school grounds. This can be on the oval, carpark etc.
If you have a large volume of training to be delivered we can arrange multiple trainers to conduct multiple sessions in order to service whatever numbers you require training for.
If you have staff rotation between onsite and remote working we can also arrange for our Trainers to attend on multiple days (subject to availability) to capture your entire team.
Fully Online Training and Assessment
Using this delivery mode participants will complete the online component of the training via our normal training portal. Once they have completed this they can participate in their online assessment session via zoom in groups of up to 5 participants.
The sessions will be facilitated by our Trainers based out of our Training Centre in Braeside and clients will be able to book into an assessment session scheduled and available on a dedicated booking calendar to be published closer to the commencement of term 4.
Equipment:
For clients who have multiple participants undertaking the training we can arrange for an appropriate amount of equipment to be delivered to their school and collected following the training.
For Participants working from home and unable to access the shared gear they can purchase a remote training pack to be sent directly to the client. The packs are $93.50 for First Aid and $57.75 for CPR – these can be used by multiple staff and remain the property of the purchaser

We have spent a significant amount of time over the lockdown extending our Training Team in order to service this demand but we ask that clients please contact us to secure tentative dates as early as possible.
